Highland Village Art Festival

Join us for the 8th annual Highland Village Art Festival featuring over 48 outstanding gallery-quality artists, artist demonstrations, live music, entertainment, and interactive children’s activities.  Interact with a stilt walker and other street performers, watch a chalk artist create a butterfly mural in Central Park, get a balloon creation from a balloon artist, and get your face painted while you are here.  All entertainment is free around the property.

Local children’s group performances will be occurring throughout the day on the stage in Central Park.  Be sure to check out:

10am-10:30am: School of Rock Flower Mound.  Whether a beginner or a budding Rockstar, School of Rock students will master the next level of musical proficiency through their patented performance based system.  Watch these young stars belt out the best of rock.

11am-11:45am:  Bach to Rock Flower Mound.  Bach to Rock is a modern music school for future stars.  Learn from pro musicians in one-on-one lessons, jam with other students in ensemble programs, and rock the stage at live events.  Don’t miss your chance to see these virtuosos in action.

2:30pm-3pm:  Shadow Ridge Middle School Jazz Band

4pm-6pm:  Whitney James will be performing in Central Park.  Enjoy this free jazz concert from this extremely talented local musician.  Visit link to learn more about Whitney’s singing style and connections to North Texas.
