Global Recycling Day

Join The Shops as we focus on recycling, upcycling, and just doing good.

Our Global Recycling Day activation will give customers the opportunity to safely and sustainably shred old documents as well as recycle small electronics.  Magic Shred will be on hand to shred all of your personal documents for free.   Donate small electronics for recycling with United Electronics Recycling.  Items accepted include computer and components, microphones, keyboards, mice, telephones, scanners, shredders, answering machines, wires and cables, and printer cartridges.

A limited number of guests will receive a free Shops reusable tote bag.

We will also host three donation drives to help upcycle items you no longer need.

♻ Giving Grace:  This local organization transforms lives and empowers families to overcome homelessness and housing instability by providing resources, building relationships, and fostering community through the love of Jesus.  They will be on hand collecting gently used denim, pants, jackets, dresses, and work shirts for people of all ages.

♻ Flower Mound Animal Services:    Dedicated to ensuring the safety of the community through proactive support of responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, by means of education and the promotion of compassionate wildlife practices.  The organization is accepting donations of gently used towels, dog collars, and dog leashes.  They will have an informational tent set up with a binder of current pets available for adoption.

♻ Inspire Yoga:  Our local studio will be collecting old yoga mats for upcycling.  Drop off your mat and receive a coupon for 15% off a new mat from their studio and a free class.

This event will take place in the courtyard area between Soma Intimates and Chico’s.
